It seems to affect mostly changing zones directly. If I go through the Guild Hall or some other instance it seems to work better. I am having the same exact issue, looked online and opened the ports and allowed in firewall like Guild Wars support suggested but nothing seems to be working. #9 Synthakat This exact same issue is impacting me and two other GW2 players in my household. It started on Thursday as well. We have tried the following, without success: Reinstalled GW2 Restarted router Port forwarding on router Password change Contacted our ISP, they confirmed the problem is not on their end. This issue is specific to GW2. I've been having this issue for a week now as well. It feels like I'm occasionally connecting to dead/overworked servers ingame when I get infinite loading screens and am stuck in STATE_SERVER_WAIT, and seemingly also dead login servers. Or otherwise, am unable to connect to said servers. I got the spinning login circle of doom, then did a flushdns and made sure the GW2 processes weren't running. Reopened the game and exercised patience (for once). It eventually logged me in and I'm standing in the PvP lobby :) We will continue to communicate on Twitter like we have previously, but we will make our news and announcements forum our first location for "breaking news" on issues that affect things like the live game service. The Guild Wars 2 forums are visible regardless of registration or login, and we will keep it that way.
